Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Nightshift
Description:
We are hiring for our client for an experienced Nightshift Maintenance Engineer to join a highly successful manufacturing operation based in Portadown. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work within a clean, automated environment with strong earning potential, excellent benefits and long-term career stability.
The successful Maintenance Engineer – Nightshift will work Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6.30am, supporting planned and reactive maintenance across modern production equipment.

The Role:
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across automated production equipment
• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed safely
The Person:
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Level 2 or higher engineering qualification
• Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding ability
• Experience working in a manufacturing, production or automated environment
• Ability to work in a small team on nightshift
• Committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement
