Description

We are hiring for our client for a Field Service Technician (Waste water) to join a highly secure and well-established service team operating across Northern Ireland.

 

This Field Service Technician (Waste water) role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical or electrical experience to step into a stable, long-term position supporting essential wastewater infrastructure. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and responding to issues across treatment sites, ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably. Can be based from anywhere NI.

 

The Field Service Technician (Waste water) position is Monday to Friday (8am–4pm), offering genuine work-life balance with no weekend working, a fully equipped van, and occasional overtime availability.

The Reward:

 

  • £35,000 – £36,500 basic salary + overtime

The Role

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective on-site solutions
  • Work across wastewater treatment sites throughout Northern Ireland
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with compliance standards
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and reporting

 

The Person

  • Experience in a mechanical maintenance or waste water role
  • Mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills

 

The Rewards

  • £35,000 – £36,500 salary depending on experience
