Maintenance Manager – Swords, Dublin
We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing FMCG business, who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering function at their Swords facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys driving reliability, improving maintenance performance and leading continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced production environment.

The Role
- Lead and manage the site maintenance department and engineering team
- Oversee and continuously improve the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme
- Ensure efficient response to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Drive maintenance best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead engineering and capital projects from planning through to completion
- Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvements
- Work closely with production teams to maximise plant efficiency and output
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and maintenance standards
The Person
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or some supervisory experience
- Strong background within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced production environment
- Multiskilled ability highly desirable
- Proven experience managing preventative maintenance programmes
- Ability to lead engineering teams and coordinate maintenance activities
- Experience delivering maintenance or site improvement projects
- Strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills
