We are hiring for our client, a well-established engineering business based in Cookstown, seeking an experienced Control Panel Builder to join their growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of industrial and heavy engineering projects across sectors including material handling, quarrying, and manufacturing. The Role:
As an Control Panel Builder, you will:
- Build and wire electrical control panels from technical drawings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Carry out electrical testing and quality checks on completed panels
- Assist with panel modifications and fault finding when required
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety within the workshop
The Person:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in panel building or electrical assembly
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
