Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Description:
We are hiring for our client, a well-established construction and facilities management organisation, to recruit a Quantity Surveyor based in Londonderry. This Quantity Surveyor role focuses on hospital works contracts, supporting the delivery of high-volume maintenance and minor works programmes across healthcare facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team delivering essential infrastructure projects within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The Role:
• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for projects up to £1m
• Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Administer JCT, NEC, and maintenance contracts
• Monitor costs, profitability, and cash flow projections
• Liaise with Health Trusts, project teams, and subcontractors
• Support tender pricing and bid submissions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and audit requirements
The Person:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
• Experience in maintenance or minor works (public sector desirable)
• Strong knowledge of NEC/JCT and Schedule of Rates
• Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel
