Due to continued growth and expansion, we are hiring for our client, a well-established electrical engineering and automation business based in Co. Tyrone, for an Installation Electrician. This Installation Electrician job offers the opportunity to work with a specialist team delivering high-quality electrical control panel design, manufacture, installation and commissioning services across a range of industrial projects. The successful Installation Electrician will join a business that is entering an exciting growth phase, with increasing demand for its expertise in control systems and industrial automation. This role will suit an experienced Industrial / Installation Electrician who enjoys site-based work, problem-solving and being part of a close-knit, forward-thinking engineering team.

The Role:

As an Installation Electrician, you will:

• Carry out electrical installation works on industrial sites

• Wire and connect electrical control panels and associated equipment

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings

• Assist with testing, fault-finding and commissioning of control systems

• Ensure all work is completed to current electrical standards and health & safety regulations

• Work collaboratively with engineers and panel builders to deliver projects on time

This Installation Electrician role will involve a mix of workshop and on-site work, primarily across NI and ROI.

 

The Person:

To be successful in this Installation Electrician job, you will have:

• Time-served Electrician / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

• Experience in industrial electrical installations

• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

• Experience with control panels or automation systems (highly desirable)

• Strong fault-finding skills

• A proactive and dependable approach to work

• Full driving licence

This role would particularly suit an Industrial Electrician who is keen to develop further within controls and automation.
