Maintenance Coordinator

 

We are hiring for our client in Ashbourne who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to lead and deliver the full site maintenance programme across a high-volume production environment.

 

This is a key role where the successful Maintenance Coordinator will manage and support a team of maintenance fitters and electricians, ensure effective maintenance planning and scheduling, and drive world-class reliability across all production systems.

 

This position offers strong autonomy, daily operational influence, and a clear opportunity to enhance maintenance performance.

The Role

 

• Plan, coordinate and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site
• Work closely with engineering, production and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
• Maintain and update the CMMS with accurate work orders, asset information and maintenance histories
• Support continuous improvement projects across maintenance and reliability
• Participate in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards
• Track key performance indicators relating to maintenance performance and asset reliability

 

The Person

• Previous experience in a Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor or similar engineering role

• Relevant engineering qualification
• Strong understanding of maintenance processes, scheduling and CMMS systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production and external partners
• Strong problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
