We are hiring for our client, a respected Belfast-based law firm, who are seeking an experienced Tender/Bid Writer to join their central business team. This is a key role supporting the firm’s growth strategy through the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality tenders, proposals, and bids across multiple practice areas.

The Role:
- Manage the end-to-end tender process from evaluation through to submission
- Produce high-quality written content, including tenders, proposals, capability documents, and pitch materials
- Review tender requirements, interpret specifications, and plan submission timelines
- Coordinate contributions from legal and business teams, ensuring consistent, accurate responses
- Edit, proofread, and format documents to a high professional standard
- Monitor tender portals and identify new opportunities across NI, ROI and UK markets
- Maintain up-to-date bid libraries, templates, and supporting materials
- Manage internal deadlines, ensuring all stakeholders contribute on time
- Support post-submission evaluation, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, branding, and document standards
The Person – What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tender, bid writing, proposals, or similar role
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading ability with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills – able to coordinate multiple contributors
- Ideally degree educated in English, Business, Communications, or a similar discipline
- Previous experience in a legal, professional services, or regulated environment is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with document templates and bid portals
