Talent Officer

Due to operational demand, we are recruiting a Talent Officer on a temporary basis for a global catering specialist organisation. The successful candidate will be going into a busy team to deliver a top standard HR delivery practice for all of their locations whilst gaining exposure to all aspects of the HR function  . This role will be located in Lisburn.

The Role:

• Provide top class HR practice to a headcount of around 400 across the UK and Europe.
• Assisting the delivery of a range of HR practices such as employee relations, performance, employee engagement etc.
• Support the Head of Talent Acquisition to recruit a varied portfolio of roles form entry level to senior management.
• Partnering with the business to implement a range of effective and pro-active HR and ER solutions.
• Supporting the wider talent team when required

The Person:

• 1 year minimum of strong knowledge and experience of HR, covering a breadth of activities from a generalist background
• CIPD qualified or HR related degree (desirable)
• Experience of playing a part in recruiting top tier candidates across multiple sectors within an agency, search firm or inhouse recruiting team.
• A positive, solution-based approach to challenges
• Strong experience with assisting with ER meetings such as disciplinary hearings, grievance and investigations.
• Willing to travel occasionally to other sites and offices when needed
