We are hiring for our client, a distinguished organisation in the banking sector, seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for a 16-month fixed-term contract based in Belfast. The Role:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial and regulatory reports in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Financial Control, External Reporting, Financial Planning & Performance Analysis, Tax, and Treasury, to ensure cohesive financial management.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing financial processes and maintaining a robust control environment.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
  • Develop financial insights and analysis to inform decision-making and drive business performance.

The Person:

  • Qualifications: Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Experience: Background in an accountancy firm or finance function, with strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen business acumen to drive performance improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
