Due to continued success, our highly successful, market leading Client in the Derry/L’Derry area, is keen to appoint an experienced HR & Recruitment Coordinator. This is a new, permanent HR administration job.
The successful HR & Recruitment Coordinator will provide a full range of administrative support services to the HR team, supporting the full employee life cycle.
Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the successful HR & Recruitment Administrator will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, absence, onboarding, learning & development and reporting activities.
This is a really great, varied HR & Recruitment Administration role, requiring a minimum of 2-3 years HR administration and recruitment experience, ideally within a busy, commercial environment.
The Role
- Admin support in all areas across the full employee life cycle – absence management, recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations etc
- Manage the end to end recruitment activities
- Act as the first point of contact for recruitment agencies
- Update HR metrics on the tracker and ensure data accuracy and reports
- Manage the time and attendance system, processing annual leave, new starts, leavers, agency workers etc
- Assist payroll
- Support the creation of contracts of employment, offer letters, new starter documentations
- Provide reports on absence, headcount and holidays
- Prepare shift rotas and holiday schedules
- Promote and support health and wellbeing initiatives and assist with events as required
- Lead of participate in HR projects
- Coordinate onboarding processes
The Person
- GCSE English and Maths
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a HR Administrator role
- 1-2 years recruitment experience
- Sound knowledge of NI employment law and best practice
- Excellent experience of record maintenance with knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
