Due to continued success, our highly successful, market leading Client in the Derry/L’Derry area, is keen to appoint an experienced HR & Recruitment Coordinator.  This is a new, permanent HR administration job.

The successful HR & Recruitment Coordinator will provide a full range of administrative support services to the HR team, supporting the full employee life cycle.

Reporting to the Senior HR Officer, the successful HR & Recruitment Administrator will be responsible for assisting with recruitment, absence, onboarding, learning & development and reporting activities.

This is a really great, varied HR & Recruitment Administration role, requiring a minimum of 2-3 years HR administration and recruitment experience, ideally within a busy, commercial environment. 

 

The Role

  • Admin support in all areas across the full employee life cycle – absence management, recruitment, learning & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations etc
  • Manage the end to end recruitment activities
  • Act as the first point of contact for recruitment agencies
  • Update HR metrics on the tracker and ensure data accuracy and reports
  • Manage the time and attendance system, processing annual leave, new starts, leavers, agency workers etc
  • Assist payroll
  • Support the creation of contracts of employment, offer letters, new starter documentations
  • Provide reports on absence, headcount and  holidays
  • Prepare shift rotas and holiday schedules
  • Promote and support health and wellbeing initiatives and assist with events as required
  • Lead of participate in HR projects
  • Coordinate onboarding processes

 

The Person

  • GCSE English and Maths
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a HR Administrator role
  • 1-2 years recruitment experience
  • Sound knowledge of NI employment law and best practice
  • Excellent experience of record maintenance with knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
