We are hiring for our client, a well-established insurance brokerage, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their Operations team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and service a commercial portfolio of mid-to-large customers while supporting account retention, business growth, and operational excellence.
The role is ideal for a highly motivated commercial insurance professional with a strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven track record in account management.

The Role:
• Provide ongoing servicing to existing clients and manage relationships throughout the renewal cycle
• Analyse customer needs and identify opportunities to strengthen their risk management structures
• Market client accounts to insurers and negotiate premiums on their behalf
• Collect and submit required documentation to underwriters and ensure accurate risk placement
• Maintain clear and accurate records on Applied Relay, including file notes
• Monitor business metrics including new business, renewals, fees, commissions, and margins
• Mentor and support junior Account Handlers
• Attend client meetings alongside the Sales team and provide technical and commercial support
• Lead and participate in internal business projects
• Stay informed of insurer appetites, market trends, and competitor activity
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Central Bank codes and internal procedures
The Person:
• 6–10+ years’ experience in commercial broking or relevant insurance operations
• Detailed technical knowledge across commercial insurance products including:
– Commercial Property
– Employer’s/Public Liability
– Professional Indemnity
– Commercial Fleet
– Specialist lines (Agri, Marine, Engineering, Credit, Construction Bonds, Cyber etc.)
• Strong understanding of client businesses and industry sectors
• Proven track record in client account management, retention, and relationship building
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements in insurance
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
• Motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
