Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000
Description:
We are hiring for our client, who is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their established engineering and projects team. With a major capital programme underway, this role will focus on leading the design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects within a highly regulated environment.

The Role:
- Manage design, delivery, and commissioning of electrical projects
- Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Oversee design, drawings, and approvals to align with programme requirements
- Ensure compliance with all technical standards, regulations, and specifications
- Establish and maintain quality assurance systems
- Support site teams, enforce H&S standards, and manage safe systems of work
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor progress and performance against targets
- Lead project meetings and technical discussions
- Provide guidance to project teams and support commercial reporting
The Person:
- Degree (UK Level 6 or above) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager on medium–large construction projects
- Strong background in HV, MV, LV, and communication systems
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
- Construction industry card (CSCS, CSR, or SafePass)
- Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and UK H&S standards
- Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and project performance
