Shift Pattern: Dayshifts – 40 hours per week

We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer of machinery components supplying a broad range of clients across manufacturing, agricultural, and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The Role:

Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on machinery and production equipment within the manufacturing environment

Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime

Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and servicing of equipment

Work closely with other engineers and production staff to ensure the smooth operation of all machinery

Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
The Person:
-
Hold a relevant Level 3 engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)

Demonstrable experience in mechanical repairs within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical issues

Excellent communication and team-working skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative
