An excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global equipment manufacturer. Reporting to the design manager and working as part of a team you will help provide support to the wider design team

The role

• Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
• Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
• Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings
• Design modification to ensuring continuous improvement of existing products.
• Design of a range of heavy manufacturing equipment
• Customer interaction, supply chain & production support

The Person

• 5 years’ design experience gained within heavy manufacturing
• Experience using SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
