About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Production Team Leader to join a growing food processing company in Kilkeel, Co. Down. This role has been created due to the expansion of the business and requires someone with a strong background in production management, quality control, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient manufacturing of seafood products that meet quality standards. The role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate daily production operations to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion of production targets.

Supervise and guide production staff, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Oversee assembly and manufacturing processes, ensuring that products meet required quality standards.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and operations, to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.

Promote a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.

Analyze production data and take action to enhance operational efficiency and meet KPIs.

Ensure all food safety documentation, including HACCP, is consistently maintained and up to date in line with regulations.

Provide leadership and support to the production team, addressing any performance issues and ensuring the team remains motivated and focused.
Requirements:

Proven experience in food production, with a strong emphasis on quality control and team leadership.

Strong understanding of production processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuous improvement methodologies.
