We are hiring for our client, a globally recognised manufacturer supplying cutting-edge machinery to the food, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. With a reputation for innovation and engineering excellence, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Field Service Technician to support their continued growth across Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader, providing on-site technical support, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for state-of-the-art automated machinery systems.

The Role:
• Commissioning, maintaining, and servicing a wide range of specialist automated machinery
• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults, particularly electrical and PLC-related issues
• Providing technical support and training to end-users on customer sites
• Regular travel throughout Ireland to client sites, with occasional international travel for training
• Liaising with internal engineering teams to support continuous product improvement
The Person:
• Time-Served Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship OR relevant Engineering qualification
• Proven experience in a similar Field Service Technician role
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with PLC systems and a broad understanding of industrial automation
• Ability to work independently, with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset
• Flexibility for travel throughout Ireland
