Job Title: Mechatronic Engineer (Field Service)
Description: We are hiring for our client, a dynamic company based in Craigavon, seeking a skilled Mechatronic Engineer to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be involved in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting the commissioning of systems on customer sites, among other duties.

The Role:
- Perform on-site mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Assist with the commissioning of systems at customer sites.
- Provide post-implementation customer support and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the manufacturing of harvesting systems at company premises.
- Build control panels and wire machines as needed.
- Utilize Schneider control systems and PLCs.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Read and interpret detailed electrical and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrate engineering expertise to improve products and services.
- Engage in research and development projects, both in-office and hands-on.
- Collaborate with the design team in R&D to refine and improve the product range.
The Person:
- BSc in Mechatronics Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualification engineering experience.
- Proficiency in reading detailed electrical and engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electronic/electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in building, commissioning, and advancing product development.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in changing situations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Ability to complete on-site installations and commissioning of systems.
- Capable of maintaining technical specifications.
