The Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Lead cost planning, budgeting and project forecasting
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, tenders and contracts
- Monitor and control project costs to support value and profitability
- Manage commercial risks linked to costs, contracts and procurement
- Oversee subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Provide financial reporting, cash flow updates and reconciliations
- Deliver cost advice and value engineering recommendations
- Work closely with project managers, design teams and procurement teams
The Person:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of cost management, tendering and contracts
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills
- Confidence using cost management software and MS Office
