The Role

  • Lead and develop the firm's employment practice, driving growth in both revenue and reputation
  • Advise a high-quality client base on the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • Handle complex employment litigation, WRC and Labour Court proceedings, and senior executive matters
  • Advise on large-scale restructuring, TUPE, and workforce matters in transactional contexts
  • Play a key leadership role within the partnership, contributing to firm strategy and culture
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers, building a high-performing employment team
  • Identify and capitalise on cross-selling and business development opportunities across the firm

The Person

  • Qualified solicitor at partner level (or a senior associate with a clear pathway and strong following)
  • Significant experience in Irish employment law, both contentious and advisory
  • A portable client base and demonstrable business development track record
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and developing a team
  • High levels of commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Collaborative in nature with the gravitas to operate effectively at the highest levels
