Description
We are hiring for our client for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join a leading specialist contractor delivering innovative construction solutions across a range of major projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK.
This Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile mechanical and electrical projects within a growing business that values its people, invests heavily in development, and provides genuine long-term career progression. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, commercial risk, and client relationships from pre-contract stage through to final account.

The Role
• Attend pre-contract meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and project teams
• Review and negotiate contracts with main contractors and clients
• Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement and negotiations
• Administer contracts and oversee payment processes
• Measure and value completed works in line with contract requirements
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and financial statements
• Identify and manage commercial risks across projects
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide commercial updates
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and support teams
The Person
• 5+ years' post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction
• Experience working on Mechanical & Electrical projects preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Full clean driving licence
• Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills
