We are hiring for our client, a growing construction business based in Ballymena, who are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team in a broad and varied generalist HR role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR professional to gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while supporting both Head Office and operational sites. The successful HR Officer will work closely with managers and employees, supporting recruitment, employee relations, reporting, wellbeing initiatives and wider HR projects.

The Role
- Support day-to-day HR operations across Head Office and operational sites
- Act as first point of contact for managers and employees on HR queries
- Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process
- Maintain accurate HR records and update HR systems
- Support disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes
- Produce HR reports and analyse HR data and trends
- Support Annual Monitoring Returns and Article 55 reporting
- Contribute to employee engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives
- Assist with training, learning and wider HR projects
- Ensure HR activities remain compliant with policies and employment legislation
The Person
- CIPD qualified
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a busy HR environment
- Previous experience within a busy, production/construction/manufacturing/engineering industry
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Full clean UK driving licence
