The Company
We are working with a growing main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across Ireland. With a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior leadership team.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the delivery of either a major project or multiple concurrent sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This is a leadership-focused position with ownership across programme, commercial performance, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of multiple projects or large-scale developments
- Manage programme, budget, and overall project performance
- Lead and develop site teams and project staff
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Work closely with QS teams on commercial performance and cost control
- Ensure full compliance with HSE and company procedures
- Manage subcontractors, procurement, and planning activities
- Identify and resolve project risks and delivery challenges
The Person
- Experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within construction
- Proven track record delivering multiple projects or complex builds
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing costs and programme delivery
- Confident dealing with clients and senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior construction role
- Strong understanding of contractual and commercial aspects of projects
