The Role:

• Build and manage daily transport plans aligned to customer delivery requirements.
  Translate order volumes and operational priorities into practical and cost-effective route plans.
• Coordinate closely with drivers, warehouse teams and customer service to keep transport operations running smoothly.
• Anticipate and manage planning risks including delays, vehicle availability, and last-minute order changes.
• Monitor transport performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve utilisation, service levels and cost efficiency.

The Person:

• Previous experience in a transport planning, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling position.
• Comfortable working in environments with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  Strong systems knowledge (transport management or route planning systems) with good Excel capability.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance competing operational demands.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively with drivers, operational teams, and customers.
