The Role
The Business Analyst will support the delivery of key operational processes and provide analytical support across the wider team.
Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of core operational processes including registration, qualification and reporting
• Preparing and analysing data to support operational and regulatory requirements
• Responding to internal and external queries within agreed timelines
• Coordinating activities across internal teams and external stakeholders
• Supporting internal and external audit processes
• Preparing reports and updates for senior stakeholders
• Assisting with onboarding and training of new team members
• Organising meetings with external users and ensuring clear communication of actions
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider organisation to ensure consistent processes and delivery
This Business Analyst role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines and an organised, analytical mindset.
The Person
The ideal Business Analyst will have:
• Degree in Business, IT, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline
• Typically 1–2 years’ relevant professional experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building ability
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• High level of proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high quality work
• Comfortable working within a collaborative team environment
Desirable experience:
• Experience within energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors
• Engineering background
• Experience presenting to stakeholder groups
