This role goes beyond transactional purchasing, you’ll play a key part in cost control, supplier performance and stock optimisation within a global manufacturing group known for delivering engineered equipment worldwide.

The Role:
- Lead day‑to‑day purchasing activity, managing suppliers and securing best value across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and fabricated components.
- Oversee stock control and replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent production delays.
- Analyse purchasing, supplier and inventory data to drive improvements and reduce supply chain risk.
The Person:
- 3–5 years’ experience in procurement / buying (minimum 3 years in a buying role), ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong systems capability, confident using ERP platforms and interpreting procurement and production data.
- Commercially astute, detail‑focused and comfortable working cross‑functionally with engineering, planning and production teams.
