We are hiring for our client, a well-known and highly respected local employer in the Ashbourne area, who are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a Monday to Friday evening role with no night shifts, offering stability, strong earning potential through overtime, and the opportunity to join a forward-thinking and supportive engineering environment.

The Role:
• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the production site
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, including motors, sensors, control panels, and PLCs
• Ensure minimal downtime and improved reliability of manufacturing equipment
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to support process improvements and equipment upgrades
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in line with compliance and quality standards
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
The Person:
• Recognised electrical trade qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within a production or manufacturing setting
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems is an advantage
