Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Description:
We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing employer, who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team. This is a great opportunity to work, on a steady shift Monday to Friday with the added bonus of readily available overtime and long-term job security. The successful Maintenance Engineer will enjoy working in a proactive engineering team that supports production uptime, efficiency, and safety.

- €20–€22 per hour (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday working hours
- Overtime paid at x1.5 and regularly available
The Role:
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant equipment
• Respond to breakdowns, perform root cause analysis and carry out timely repairs
• Support production through reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering development projects
• Accurately record all maintenance activity and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with engineers, production, and health & safety teams
The Person:
• Experienced Maintenance Engineer (mechanical or electrical bias considered)
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
The Reward:
• €20–€22 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working schedule
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half and available regularly
