This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a people-focused professional who enjoys both the structure of HR operations and the creative aspects of learning and development.
As part of a growing HR team, the HR & Learning and Development Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance, supporting employee relations, and driving a high-performing, values-led culture through engaging training and development initiatives.

The Role:
- Advise and support managers and employees on HR policies, performance, and employee relations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Deliver and track training across departments, identifying needs and supporting departmental plans.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, well-being, and continuous improvement through learning initiatives.
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective training content that aligns with business needs
- Maintain accurate and up to date training records and ensure all mandatory training in completed and tracked in line with internal policies and legal requirements
- Promote a learning culture that supports continuous development, inclusion and high performance
- Support career progression and succession planning
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Manage employee documentation, onboarding, and lifecycle processes in line with company values.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a blended HR and Learning and development role, with a passion for L&D
- Experience using HR systems and learning platforms (LMS).
- Strong knowledge of NI employment law with previous generalist HR experience.
- Proven ability to deliver and facilitate training confidently and effectively.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience using HR systems and learning platforms (LMS).
- Highly organised, discreet, and solutions-focused with a valid UK driver’s licence.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, service-led environment is advantageous.
