We are hiring for our client, a market-leading supplier to the food manufacturing industry, who are seeking a talented Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join their established engineering team at their Craigavon facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical maintenance professional to join a forward-thinking, stable organisation where you’ll be involved in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of modern, automated production systems.
The successful Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) will have a strong background in maintaining production machinery and be comfortable working with PLCs and automation in a high-volume environment.

The Role:

Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment

Diagnose and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime

Troubleshoot and fault-find using PLC systems

Support ongoing improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and performance

Maintain health and safety standards in all engineering activities
The Person:
-
Recognised Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – essential

Proven experience in a production or manufacturing maintenance role

Skilled in electrical fault-finding and working with PLCs – essential

Strong understanding of automated processes and mechanical systems

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
