The Role:
• Lead and manage Quantity Surveying functions across a diverse portfolio of projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets
• Advise on procurement strategies, risk management, and contract administration
• Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Support and mentor junior surveyors, providing opportunities for development
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering excellent service
The Person:
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (RICS accreditation desirable)
• Strong expertise in cost planning, estimating, and commercial management
• Proven track record across various construction sectors
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Leadership ability to inspire and manage teams effectively
• Knowledge of Building Contracts, including Public Contracts
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Cubit, Excel)
