Salary up to €65,000 depending on experience

An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading automation company based in Mullingar. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will assist in the design and continuous improvement of new and current products

The Role:

• Work within the design team to develop innovative concepts from customer requirements
• 3D Design of Mechatronic equipment
• Hands on involvement at the build and de-bug stage to ensure designs meet performance specifications.
• Ability to take responsibility for large projects and manage cross functional terms through the life cycle of a project
• Design and implement process improvements for existing automation equipment
• Prepare detailed tooling drawings

The Person:

• Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Strong experience using 3D CAD applications e.g. SolidWorks
