Design Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company based in their Monaghan site.  Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will lead design projects across the company working closely with Production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple design projects, from concept development to drawing creation and final design approval.
• Collaborate closely with the Production team to ensure seamless support during manufacturing and testing phases.
• Ensure all designs meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Work closely with production, sales teams, and clients to ensure designs meet project specifications and client needs.
• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
• Contribute to continuous product development and improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• At least one years’ experience in a design role within a manufacturing company
