We are hiring for our client, a market-leading manufacturing employer based in Cookstown. Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of commercial experience and will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

The Role:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Preparation of year-end accounts and statutory financial statements
• Interpret and present data findings to key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and reporting timeframes
• Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns (VAT and Corporation Tax), ensuring timely submission and tracking payments or refunds
• Enhance efficiency with processes and record-keeping

The Person:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial experience in Northern Ireland
• At least 1 year's experience in preparing monthly management accounts, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Strong working knowledge of accounting software
• Proven ability to deliver against deadlines
• High level of commercial and business acumen
• Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
• Aptitude for building relationships and influencing laterally
