Description
We are hiring for our client, a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Carrickmacross, who are seeking to appoint a Waste Water Technician to join their operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Waste Water Technician to secure a permanent dayshift position with a highly successful business. The successful Waste Water Technician will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, monitoring and maintenance of the site's waste water treatment processes while supporting environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role
- Monitor and operate the site's effluent water treatment plant
- Carry out routine testing, sampling and analysis of waste water systems
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and discharge requirements
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on treatment equipment
- Liaise with internal teams and external service providers where required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the treatment process
- Assist with environmental audits and compliance activities
The Person
- Previous experience working within a waste water treatment environment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of waste water treatment processes and environmental compliance
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage daily operational responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
