Dayshift Maintenance Engineer
Description:
We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing business, who are seeking a Dayshift Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Portadown.
This Dayshift Maintenance Engineer role offers a rare opportunity to work Monday to Friday on a days-only schedule, supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

The Role:
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed to health & safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
The Person:
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently in a dayshift environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Good communication and teamwork skills
