Maintenance Electrician (Evening Shift)
Description:
We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Ashbourne, who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their evening shift maintenance team.
This Maintenance Electrician job offers an excellent opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where reliability, safety and continuous improvement are key priorities. The successful Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient running of plant equipment, responding to breakdowns, and supporting preventative maintenance activities across the facility.
This role would suit a qualified electrician with strong industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting faults, improving equipment performance and working within a collaborative engineering team.

- Salary €54,500 + overtime available
- Evening shift hours – Monday to Thursday 3pm–11pm, Friday 2pm–9pm
- 32 days annual leave plus pension and medical cover
The Role:
• Carry out electrical maintenance across production equipment and site facilities
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to maintain equipment reliability
• Respond to breakdowns and implement effective fault-finding solutions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines
• Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
The Person:
• Electrical qualification
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Knowledge of production equipment and automated machinery desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Strong focus on safety, reliability and problem-solving
