Job Description

Our Client,  a leading global manufacturer, is keen to recruit an experienced Benefits Specialist.  This is a new, permanent benefits job, based in Co Antrim. 

The successful Benefits Specialist will report to the Senior Benefits Consultant and be responsible for maintaining a range of benefit programmes.  The Benefits Specialist will have a key role in benchmarking, researching, renewal and communication of benefit programmes within the company’s Total Reward Structure.  The benefit specialist will also be involved in supplier management and influencing administration processes.

 

The Role

  • Collaborate on employee benefit related knowledge and skill sets to determine current benefit trends and form comparisons
  • Organise the design and implementation of programs eg accident and health insurance coverage, retirement and pension plans etc
  • Participate in local and global surveys on current benefit trends, pricing and policies
  • Participate in modelling cost analyses of various program or policy updates
  • Responsible for benchmarking of benefit programmes and policies
  • Support the execution of the regional renewal calendar, including RFQs, renewals, that may require comparative analysis of survey market data
  • Support the review and update of annual benefit rates
  • Perform regular checks on compliance regulations
  • Support M&A integration efforts and initiatives which may require the redesigning of company benefits programs
  • Inform employees about benefit programs
  • Provide support to the Total Rewards Team on global projects

 

The Person

  • 3rd level Degree qualification, essential
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience with benefit programmes 
  • Experience performing benefit analysis and ability to translate into plans and proposals
  • Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
