Due to an upcoming maternity absence, we are hiring for our client, an award-winning construction organisation based in County Tyrone, who are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and growing business, supporting the HR team across recruitment, onboarding, training and development, compliance, employee engagement and HR projects. The successful HR Officer will enjoy a varied generalist role within a collaborative and people-focused environment.

The Role
- Manage recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, liaising with agencies and supporting interviews
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and new starter documentation
- Coordinate onboarding activities and deliver company inductions
- Conduct new starter reviews and provide feedback to management teams
- Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews and reporting
- Monitor training compliance, identify training gaps and coordinate external training requirements
- Support the design and delivery of internal training programmes
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis for senior leadership meetings
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information
- Support HR projects and wider people initiatives across the business
The Person
- Third level qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' HR generalist experience
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Full driving licence
